About Julia Wooster, Your London Reiki Master
I'm really glad you found this site.
I first enjoyed Reiki in the Fall of 2010. I went for a Reiki session and was completely blown away by how good I felt.
I left the session and stopped in at Michael's Craft store to look for some note cards as I had bought them there in the past.
I didn't find the note cards, but I did come out of the store with the supplies to make Christmas wreaths for our front doors. Why is this significant? Well, I don't usually like Christmas. I don't really decorate for it.
A few days later I was driving myself and my husband, Peter, home after visiting his parents. I wanted some water and he wanted a can of Coke, so I exited the 401 to find a store. Peter said, "we don't have an entrance back to the 401, we're lost". I just calmly replied, "no, we're not".
I found a truck stop and after getting the pop and water, I got boxed in by some concrete barriers. Peter then said, "well now you have to get out of this". I just said, "don't stress me out". That was amazing. Normally my response would have been, "don't <insert expletive here> tell me how to drive."
Both of these incidents gave me something to think about. I remember the Reiki Master telling me that the effects of the Reiki would last for a few days. And how right she was! I decided that I had to learn how to do this for myself which I proceeded to do.
I took my level one training in January 2011 followed by level two in May of that year. In August 2012 I became a Reiki Master and I have taught many people Reiki since that time. I love doing Reiki and I love teaching it.
I am a member of the Canadian Reiki Association and teach in accordance with their standards.
I'm also an animal lover and given my way I'd have many animals. Peter is allergic to cats, so sadly we can't have them in our lives but we are fortunate to share our home with Bella our standard poodle and Stryker, our miniature poodle. I tell people that all I need is a toy poodle to collect the whole set.
